This is a friendly copy!

Conditional expressions are used by the [[ compound command and the test and [ builtin commands.

Expressions may be unary or binary. Unary expressions are often used to examine the status of a file. There are string operators and numeric comparison operators as well. If the file argument to one of the primaries is of the form `/dev/fd/N, then file descriptor N is checked. If the file argument to one of the primaries is one of `/dev/stdin’, `/dev/stdout’, or `/dev/stderr’, file descriptor 0, 1, or 2, respectively, is checked.

Acer Aspire 4720 and Windows XP

December 14th, 2007 by Andy Signer

I bought this nice ‘n cheap notebook this summer in Kuala Lumpur. It came with a Windows Vista licence and 1 GB Ram. It’s working but it felt as the World Wide Waiting in the 90ies. So I went for my good old Windows XP which is working smooth and nicely. But there is a little problem - Acer doesn’t supply us with drivers for XP. A couple of drivers can be downloaded from the Acer Site in China. But for instance, the Bluetooth driver is missing.

Graphic card driver
Wireless Driver
Chipset

To come around that problem, just take driver of the Acer Aspire 4710 model - a silimar model with drivers for XP. The Bluetooth driver is working for the Acer Aspire 4720 aswell, maybe even some other drivers are working too.
